This is primarily a blog for us to present our writings on a wide variety of topics, and showcase our web development skills. It is also a hub displaying all Skillocity projects.


Skillocity PWA

The Progressive Web App for Skillocity is available and can be added to devices for quick access to the blog. This is an example of us following latest trends by constantly learning more in the field, and actively developing our site.

Diabetes Web App

Talk about helping the community with CS? This Web App uses ML to speculate the chances of the user on the basis of the provided required information. Loads quickly and works on any platform area few perks of being a web app and one of the reasons why we chose it to be.


SkillChem

We have showed our web dev and ML skills but wait, that's not it! SkillChem is a native android app useful for solving chemical equations with a user-friendly layout. Developed using a variety of languages namely Java, xml, html, JavaScript on Android Studio, this shows our comfort with complex algorithms and multiple languages.


Narlikar Index Research

This is an astronomy research project we undertook aiming to develop an index to classify planets on the basis of habitability and help in narrowing down our search of  potentially habitable planets. Presented along with examples and the indices to perform the classification it becomes easily understandable how the Narlikar Index can help astronomers.

PWA (Powerful WebApp) deployment for Skillocity

As a team which believes in providing our users with the most powerful and easy to use tools, we are announcing a feature which would enable easy access of our blog directly from the home screen of your phone!  You're probably thinking we are launching an app, right? Well we also believe in surprising our audience, and so it is not exactly an app. An app would require extra memory space on your device and would not work on laptops/desktops but only phones/tablets.  Instead, you can now add a shortcut to our blog which runs through chrome, on your device. Usually, if you add a shortcut for a website, it would just add a shortcut to a single webpage you added a shortcut to. But in our case, after extensive coding, we have enabled our user the ability to add a shortcut to the entire website to make it easier to access, without the need of opening Chrome. This makes it feel just like an app! With this feature, you could just have an app like experience for our blog on your laptop ...

To answer this question, there are three main ways of looking at it. One is the physics perspective; one is the Computer Science perspective and one is the Mathematical perspective.
